I believe the early wagons had a smaller turbo in comparison to the saloon. TD04 as opposed to TD05 for the saloon. First auto wagon would be 94 at a guess.
I thought that might be the case, now i know a lot can be involved in swapping a turbo, but if this wagon did have a TD04 turbo, what would need to be swapped or altered on installing a TD05 turbo?

I believe a straight forward swap from one to the other as the engine is the same in other areas. Only proviso the fuelling may need to be uprated to match the increased airflow from the turbo.
