Has the registering process changed?
About a year ago, i was under the impression, a vehicle over 10 years old, only recquired an MOT. A vehicle between 5 and 10 years old, needed an SVA, but a vehicle under 5 years old needed an ESVA.
I'm looking at a 98 type-r, but have just been told that i can't register it yet, as it is now in the ESVA area. That true?

Over 10 years old it needs nothing more than an MOT. This next part is barely relevant now but: vehicles less than 10 years old but manufactured before 311296 require an SVA test certificate and an MOT. Vehicles less than 10 years old and manufactured on or after 010197 require an E-SVA (which requires the use of a Model Report) certificate and where relevant, an MOT certificate. This hasnt changed.
