At the mo I have an STi exhaust on my 99WRX classic, and after much thought, I've decided I really like the STi backbox.... but heres my problem....

i luv the rumble of scoobs and would like mine to be louder but without changing the backbox!

would it be much louder keeping my STi box but fully decatting it? if i were to do so would i loose out on any performance as opposed to an aftermarket b/box such as the Ninja?

any opinions / advice / experiences would be great, especially off those who have full decats with STi b/box

yes it would be louder, and you would gain power not lose it. a good system could gain you 20/30 bhp

it would be loud but not overly loud, if you was to fit a afterburner or blitz backbox then it would be extremely loud(ive tried both). a full decat with sti backbox will be approx 90db, which is about right for what your after

price would be roughly £300 all in but it will be worth it
