Having spent a bit of time in a CSL or 2, I'd say the sound was awesome!

Anyway, what's with the Subaru locking a wheel?

The sound of the CSL is awsome, especially in videos where the sound is recorded in the cabin.

One of our SMACS blagged a ride in one around the ring, and managed to video it for posterity - I could happily listen to it all day.

Luckily the drive could speak no english and my mate could speak no german - so just silence

The noise of that M3 just doesn't do it for me. How ever now I know what makes all the racket I can hear from my back garden, its those Radicals!

Nice video though, making me want to go for a spin there. Having driven it many years ago in a smaller car.

its a 06 sti with the following mods. ecutek remap, milltec exhaust,100 cell cat, kn fillter, the figures are 345 bhp,377ft lbs torque, uprated arb,s alk, intrax suspension which i fully recomendand and ap 6 pot brakes which on the day had no abs due to a sensor being faulty hence the lock up and being a little gentle on the brakes. this was the first time out on the suspension and brakes. if anybody is interested in the intrax suspension i can fully recomend simpson motorsport of gloucestershire they are genuine race engineers and not full of **** unlike some companys. There number is 01594 841299.

Great opening track, I'd forgotten how good "Two Tribes" is ... race was good also

I've been there for a Porsche trackday & went round as a passenger in a GT3. Fantastic fun. There was also a GT2 there with 480bhp, scary car!!

TX.

Fair enough Dave, or is it Rodney?

The CSL is arguably the finest 6 cylinder engine in existence, with a sound to die for, that trick carbon box is superb.
