UK MY06 STi unwarranted Mods
Greetings one and all!
Looking for feedback from anyone out there who has gone for unwarranted mods on their UK MY06 STi?
I was originally set on buying an MY06 STi with PPP but I'm now considering a standard STi and letting the lads at Scooby Clinic fit their PPP "equivalent"! Certainly seems you get more bang for your buck doing it that way!
I appreciate that this will invalidate the warranty with regard to any future engine issues I may have but I'm guessing everything else will still be covered as normal, is this correct?
For those of you that have taken this unwarranted mod route, have any of you lived to regret it?
Should I just stop being such a big girls blouse and take the plunge?
Any feedback positive or otherwise would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

you will have to weigh up the savings eg warranted mods cost minus unwarrated mods whatever left is it worth putting your warranty at risk for that ammount....possibly £300 ish...not for me personally

Edited to say UK Cars are all about 3 year Warranty and really PPP is good value for money considering it over long Term.
Want to Mod, get a Supermarket/ Cyprus/Import money saved should cover any repairs IMHO

Go for the PPP to get the exhaust and ppp map, then take it to a modifier for a sneaky "proper" engine remap which will properly map your ECU to your engine
Best of both worlds. PPP warranty with a proper map in the car
