Default My pride & joy has been lifted! :(

Yup my car has been lifted right from my own drive whilst we were home! Sometime around 9pm this evening.
Its a N reg dark blue legacy gtb, goes without saying I'm totally gutted! Please, please if anyone sees or hears of anything please phone the police.

Gutted!

Is Bristol still the car-crime-capital?

We lived there for 4 years and had every car done:
  • Within two weeks the scooby was broke into, never managed to take it though.
  • Wife's Micra was stolen and used as a daily drive, kept finding it in a different part of the complex, then off again for a bloody week.
  • GTi-R Boot lock popped out at Sainsbury's.
  • And finally, the GTi-R, i must've been followed at some point. They broke into the garage, to try and take it, unsucessfully.

Thanks Russ but I doubt I'll ever see it again.. Lived here in Bristol for 16 years & only had one door lock done in tesco car park but then the gtb was the nicest thing I've had took 3 years no claims now n'all I bet!

Thanks for the thoughts all though I expect to find it burnt out somewhere or not at all.

Tomski - I don't think theres alot we all can do to stop it really - if they want our cars they'll find a way to get in & get it started. Best we can do is to take every measure to make things as difficult to try & deter the lesser thieves.

Or we could just vote in a government who can sort out the justice system properly.
