Theirs a women who lives oppersite me who owns a parrot, dont know much about it apart from its very light bluey/gray 
Its a beautiful bird, but by'eck it can make some noise if its stressed. All the best for you and your new feathery friend

I kept my Hawk in a large avairy outside. Unless you know a lot about birds you may not understand the way they behave. For instance Harris Hawks spend a lot of time perched up and not doing much. So her being sat on a bow perch for a long time wasn't really an issue as they do that it the wild. I took her out flying at least 3 times a week.

No offence intended...and i,m sure you looked after the hawk...its just the thought of something that flies being kept in a cage that bothers me..

We had a Cockatiel for 17 years, it spent most of the day eating the house and tormenting the cat. It was part of the family and treated as such, it had a good life, You could say its cage was our living room,
