Question

Need a set of typre for my95wrx 205/50/16, dont want the ultimate! just a good grip, well lasting set of rubber, what do you recomment?

Add another vote for Toyos Proxes T1-S they are great value for money and a fantastic tyre, I swear by them.......

OR... Goodyear F1s good if not better than the Toyos ( quieter )& cheaper if you shop around

i really recomend a colway remould 155/70/13 found them great on my 1.0 nova

Toyos, unless you can get Goodyear Eagle F1s (better tyre IMO) for similar price. DO NOT GET AVONS.

As a tyre engineer, I would recommend different brands for different needs

But if it was my money go for Michelin Pilot Sports or Goodyear F1 eagles. The Michelins will last better but may be a tad more expensive, but whatever you choose, the right tyre pressures are almost as critical for performance and life of the tyre.

That size of tyre has a contact patch with the ground about the size of the flat of your hand. Choose well...
