Default need help contactin a member. any1 help? just bought there old scooby!!

hi there i need help contactin 1 of your members, namely anthscooby01 i recently purchased his old 53 sti ppp impreza from a salvage company and found a pass from the northern BIG ONE in the car for scoobynet so here i am haha what it is is the ecu is missing and hopefully he has it!! also was wondering if he still has the history for it? any help would be gratefully appreciated!!! many thanks

Someone will have stolen the PPP ECU. Id guess that there is very very little chance that owner has it.

Cossie7 isn't a loss adjuster trying to recover some parts that belong to the insurer's car, that were discovered missing when they collected the car,after they had paid out !!!!!!!!!

Insurers usually retain the service coupon book. If you go about it in the correct manner, you may be able to obtain a phoyocopy of the service record. With this (information) you can approach the servicing agents and complete a replacment (and htis is a lot easier now that service records are computerised. You may even be able to do this with the VIN number at any Subaru dealers...).

People who are employed by the insurance companies to reduce their losses by making sure they dont' pay out when they don't have to, or get the most from the scrap or check that whats clamied for is actually what was lost.

Ie if you crash your ppp and its a writeoff then the PPP ECU is the property of the insurance company. If you whip it then the loss adjuster can find this out and claim the cost back.

haha im not CID or somthin!! ad glady buy an ecu if some1 had 1 and surely the ecu is no good to any1 else as i still have the key and the reader as they are still fitted?

ECU was on Ebay tonight and sold for £670. Tried contacting cossie7 to tell him! Was actual ECU from my car I think. I got keys and PPP cert for my old STI.
