wagon buying pointers please
Right guys!, after 5 years my s*dding points have come off my license so I'm in the market
for an Impreza wagon (turbo), I drove my uncles WRX saloon and LOVED IT a few years back -
On paper now, I'm 28years, not a chav, 3 years no claims, never claimed anything or had any accidents
and had a license for 10+ years so hopefully wont get raped on insurance
Couple of questions hope you dont mind, I tow a boat with my current suzuki sj413 jeep
are the towbars removeable quickly do you know?, what do they tow like?
what sort of MPG can I expect driving sensibly (stop laffing) around 60mphish for 15miles a day or how
many miles will I get to £20 notes
I havent got loads to spare, looking between 2-3k, I've noticed how the r reg ones have a facelift, different
lights etc sorry if im an novice but I am trying and totally adore the engine noise on these impreza's
Should I drive a few to find out what I like and what my options on are on the amount I have to spend, been lookng at jap import sites, ebay, random garages, autotrader trying to get a feel for the market - I'm a bit useless as I know I'll love driving any of them as the driving position and seats are great!
Thanks in advance guys!

A few questions here.
First welcome to the forum.
If your SJ413 tows your boat then a wagon would no prob.
You can get quick release towbars.
I get around 145-180 miles for £20.
Find the best one you can find from someone who has owned it for a while and loved it, they will have looked after it better than average.
ps. MY(00) is year of build/reg. eg. model year (00) is a 2000 car.

Come and join us! Great for the dog and shopping. Seen a few towing stuff about. The WRX/Turbo model may be a bit thirsty when your towing.
£2-3 k is not going to get you anything that is low mileage or in decent nick either.
Have you thought about a GX or a new R Model?

Impreza's and scoobies in general are repeatedly commended and winning awards from the caravan club.
go for a decent bog standard one if you can, headlights and indicators and cosmetic bits are dead easy to replace.
I reckon the wagons look better than the saloons and are more practical!!
Like the man said come join us!!

145-180 for £20 i wish (unless your towing then it ok)i get about 200 for about £32-34 if you want to tow something get a uk car because a lot of jap stuff isnt made for it!also removable bars are a lot more expensive than a ridgid bar(about £150ish more)
