Default Where is the keypad entry located in an STI7?

Just bought an STI7 with a Cat 1 Alarm and transponder and want to change the pincode entry.

Does anyone know where the keypad is located in the car?

I also need to order a spare transponder, is this just bought from subaru?

So what's the keypad for then? Found it in my 03 WRX PPP when I thought "oh what a convenient coin tray"

Nope, not as difficult as that. Open the flap and get the keypad. Then twist it sideways and a couple of plastic pivots pop out and the keypads dangling free. The fuses are then fully exposed without the need to undo any screws.

TOP TIP if you have the flat key pad (think some models have raised number keys) use a rubber tipped pencil to type in your code. Its much easier to get the exact numbers, remembering to wait for the red light before typing the the next number in.

Lets you use different options on the the alarm, e.g. disarming the ultrasonics, using safety lock, using super lock, checking battery voltage, overriding the alarm etc.

If you have got the keypad I would have thought you'd have the alarm!?
I got a code book with my car manual. It has the mastercode in with it (so shouldn't be kept in the glove box!)
