Classic downpipe question
I think that the manifold between the turbo and the de-cat down pipe is blowing as it smells a bit in the car. How easy is it to remove if you have the car up on axle stands e.t.c? Also where will i get a spare gasket from, as Holcroft in Widnes is now shut. B.T.W i'm planning on putting the CAT downpipe back in, is it any different to fitting a de-cat?

i got my new downpipe gasket from ebay, about 18quid, was a genunie subaru part so no complaints. the job is pretty simple, just a bit fiddly. the car will need to be lifted to disconnect from center section and to remove some nuch and bolts from underneath the downpipe. being there is a decat on it now the nuts should be pretty easy to get off. its when the car has never had its downpipe changed or touched since it was made that causes lots of problems.
