Default Demon Tweeks: reputable?

I am considering spending a large sum of $$ with D-T in the near future.

Are they a reputable company I can trust not to take my $$ and run?

I figured you guys would know best

They are local ish to me and have boughts lokks of bits off them over the last 15 years. I've never had any problems with them even taking stuff back I'd changed my mind on and every time got a full refund.

Used them once and they were good. Ask for discount if you're spending a fair bit ~ I did and got about 15% off !

Expensive, but for that you get first class service. If they don't have stuff in stock they have been known to take a long time to get it.

I've bought heaps of stuff from there over the last few years.

Can't comment on there fitting skills, I've always went mail order.

Can't complain about that, infact they're posting me some stuff out free postage right now as I remembered I needed a few things after I'd ordered and it was too late to box them together.

Never had a problem with them.

They've ordered me stuff and arranged it to be delivered from their supplier directly to me to save time!

Use them regularly. Bit expensive for everyday items or small purchases but great when spening pleanty of coin.

If they havent got items in stock they do take a while to get hold of them but not much longer than most places.

Standards of workmanship were poor 3/4 years ago but have now improved dramatically. Went for 2 new tyres on the scoob last saturday and got great service from the guys there, and they took care of the scoob.

As stated above, if your spending **** loads as to speak to a manager and get a dis****, they will be more than happy to.

Id recommend them all day

Phew! Not just me then. Bought an exhaust and had a lot of trouble not getting a refund. No help between them and the manufacturer (Piper). Had independent engineer's report and Trading Standards involved, but decided not to pursue because cash amount was too small. This was about 15 years ago. Have never bought anything else from them, and hopefully have made a small dent in their profits. If you're reading this DT

Disagree with them being ****! Never had any probs. Live 10 mins away so always use them. Had parts fitted on my saxo VTS and my 106GTI. Going down in about an hour to price up some 18" toyo's for my WRX!! I'll have to remember to ask for that discount...

Spent thousands with them over the years and never had a problem, had a few long waits but it has been down to the manufacturer not them and everytime I got in touch they always said that if at any point I wanted to cancel the order I could have a full refund. Also never had a problem getting a full refund on items I have returned due to me not being happy with the fit (as long as they are returned in the same condition they were when I purchased them)

As a couple have stated, If the item or items are not in stock beware.
They charge your card up and then make you wait for it to arrive, this can take a long time and all the while you have already paid for it.
Not just happened to me but to others I know as well.

The trick with Demon tweeks is to speak to them rather than order online; Call Steve Wooley 01978 663009. Top bloke, and will give you a good price.
