P1 Boot Lid

P1 Boot Lid
Went to my local Subaru garage to get a quote for a new boot lid. Had two quotes, the first was for a UK Classic WRX coming in at £250. But the P1 lid is only £160!!!!!!!!
Doews anyone know why, is the boot made of something cheaper.... Please enlighten me.
Thanks
Jim.

i think some (RA, lightweight etc) might have been made from aluminium, normal ones are steel.
something to check would be how many holes it's got in it. not sure if a P1 lid had more in but i doubt it.
can't see any reason not to go for the cheapest one

All RA ones are steel, only the bonnets were alloy.
Could have something to do with the strenght of the part, the classic was quite a flimsy design compared to the newage, it is heavier and stronger so hence the cost increase.
