First Impreza
Hi all
I sold my 328i sport BMW last week (sad to see it go) I was looking for a nice Golf GTI.
Then i saw a couple of resonable prices Imprezas for sale, i have always loved the noise from them and always wished one day i might get one .
BUT high fuel costs and insurance put me off. At nearly 40 i thought F*** it and bought one , its a 1998 R reg wagon box standard apart from a dump valve and a ss exhaust.
all i can say is WOW i love it puts a smile on my face ever time i accelerate.

I was having the same conversation this week with a mate, what will I get after my Scooby that offers the same sort of performance/noise/looks/did I say performance?, oh and course the best forum.......we were stuck.
Then I had an idea, maybe just get another scooby, then another.............
They are good aren't they

Picked my first scoob up last Monday 25th , Impreza WRX 2002 wagon with PPP and mod lights, my smile is goes from one ear to another , even the wife seems to have a bigger grin on her face , I know what you mean about the sound they make and that excellaration leaves you breathless and yes turn the stereo down do you can hear that rumble. I for one will never by another car, well maybe a petrol tanker for the Mrs to drive, keep me in petrol.

And you have gone the sensible stealth route and got yourself a Wagon, good man !!
As a Wagon owner myself there's not alot out there that gives so much practicality and performance to boot.
I love em.
