Wat does ur brother think, or is he biased and prefers his blitz set up? If he too prefers the sound and looks of the vortex then we hav a winner(sort off).

Do u think the vortex lets out more burble? and is it just as loud and deep? Ur probably the best person to describe to us the different sounds given by the two exhausts as u can listen to them both at same time.

I borrowed a friends blitz nur spec r for a few days. Looks wise, i would hav prefered the exit to be more angled. Sound wise, it was too loud at 1st thought but then i got used to it and loved the menacing sound. It was deep and macho. However, listening to the soundclips of the vortex on scoobyworld, the vortex gave out a more burbly sound rather than just a loud sound with not so noticeable burble..is this the case in reality i wonder? It will be interesting to hear ur views.
cheers

Talking BLITZ

has to be the blitz.......i had the same dilemma just a few months back....fitted a vortex to my mates 98 turbo with centre section........sounds and looks great i have to say.....in the end i went for the blitz cat back for my 97 turbo....it has bigger pipe work and a better finished centre section.......as for the sound between the two i would have to say under load the blitz is a bit louder and on tick over maybe the vortex sounds a bit better......the blitz does have the added benifit of the bung that you can fit for any long motorway driving to kill the drone.....but for me i love it......radio off foot to the floor and that roar when you pull away.......turns heads everyday....if it's about money you wont go wrong with the vortex.......at the end of the day the choice is yours........either way you will be smiling.
i know i am.

Its a bit like in text messaging martin...u tend to use a bit of 'shorthand' now and then to save spelling certain words in full where a shorthand version will suffice i.e wen one can understand clearly wat the word is meant to read. I wil admit some text message shorthands are hard to understand, but i wouldnt have thought much to realising what 'wat' is meant to read!! And after all, we are not sitting a grammar exam, are we...??

Im surprised that u had to make a comment about this. It might be because u are well in ur 40's and despise the youth of today because u hav had a bad experience with them in some way and thus despise their ways, including them setting the trend for shorthand in text messaging and the like. Ur grumpy. This is not good for ur health. Seek help. See a psychiatrist or go for counselling.

Having just scanned wat i hav typed above, it sounds as if im humouring u; im not. I am being serious! Let us know how u get on martin. Cheers

Thanks for your insight and advise. I think I'll be just fine though thanks.

I thought that this was a forum, not some schoolboys texting site.

Why do I have to be over 40 just because I can be bothered to go through all the pain and suffering of spelling 'what' correctly?
