I have just returned my wrx300 to the dealer and he has given me a my06 wrx in white for the weekend. Its kitted out with 18in prodrive alloyts and prodrive rear spoiler. i think it looks really well but I have been getting mixed reviews. Seems people either hate it or love. Its not as quick of the mark as the 300 but feels every bit as quick when your going. I starting to really like it!!

If the alloys were anthracite I'd have it. Must be getting used to the front end.

i think white and the 'STi' look is the only new shape that does look good... true thats a nice example of a generally poor looking car though.. (in my opinion)

Looks nice but I can't get used to the rear lights or interior though. Seems a bit pricey too.

The wheels help a lot, make it look a lot better than with the standard 06 WRX alloys.

perhaps if those wheels fit my sti you could leave the car unattended for half an hour? (c'mon, they're not yours to lose)

just the rear lights that let that car down. not a fan of those headlights, but that's damn fine in white.(not that i'm biased towards white or anything!)

thats a postive responce, i agree with the gold alloys, i think it would look awesome with Anthracite. As for the spoiler its looks great but is really expensive, almost £600 un painted. I loved the interior in the wrx300, this new one is a bit bland. Its doesnt sound anywhere new as good as the wrx300 did due to the lack of PPP but its nicer to drive normally, due to the smoother power delivery. As for buying it, still not sure, i think its expensive but I have no doubt a good deal could be done due to the mess I have had with the wrx300. Moneys not the only problem though, the missus thinks its rare!! let you know if I buy it.

thats what I told the dealer to get me, he's having problems locating one at a subaru dealer. just missed a good one in derby, will have to wait and see

there's just something about white scoobs whether they are classics or newage
quite like the prodrive rear wing but agree with previous comments that would look better sitting on anthracite rims.

Looks great in white, i almost bought mine in white, go for it, it will turn more heads than the 300!
Oh ye, and as for sound, £300 will put that right with a shinny Magnex system or even a free PPP since you have had so much trouble, its worth asking the question

a used 06 WRX for 21K, sorry mate but you would be an idiot to pay that for it

you could buy a brand new one for that. They have added the cost of the wheels and the tints to the price for certain.


it looks nice, not as nice as my MY05 WRX, but definatly the nicest colour to buy the MY06 in, whether it be a WRX or STI
