Default ANy buying advise, on a Impreza turbo estate?

Hi, I'm new to this forum have been looking at it for the last few days trying to find a thread about the impreza estates , I am I likely to find an turbo estate in fair condition for under £2000 - I tow a boat and need a towbar also , I think ive come of age now to own one without being raped over insurance premiums, is it a group 17 or have i been lied too?

any tips greatfully received or things i need to look out for apart from the obvious many thanks in advance guys!

It's the same as a Saloon mate just a different body shape and a little less power, apart from the STI's.

Try using the search function.

£1995, N-Reg 69k - buts its that 'orrible looking 'Gravel Express'!!

Next cheapest - £2150, 73k '93 WRX which actually doesn't look that bad.

i suppose wagons are less desirable to "chavs" like me (being 22 i fall into that automatically ) but does it go well. could look spotless outside but have a dog of an engine... good luck anyways, look carefully, take a mate who is clued up on what to look for, and test drive test drive test drive...

Or get a RAC inspection done.

You could end up getting it for 1K

Do the RAC still do inspections, thought they had stopped - or was that the AA??

I had an AA inspection for my first scoob, and it was well worth it - even if nothing is found (which is obviously good news!!), its great for piece of mind.
