Default n00bie alert!!!!!

Yes guys, it's another n00b alert I'm afraid! lol

I'm 29, (30 in November), and currently live in Bournemouth after having moved there from London in June of last year.

I've just bought a Jap import '97 WRX Type RA in WRC Rally Blue which I should be taking delivery of in about 2 weeks after DVLA registration.
I took her for a test drive a couple of weeks ago and came back grinning like a cheshire cat! Awesome experience and I've never driven anything like it!

My current car is a Calibra V6 so that will help explain my extreme surprise at how rapid the Scooby really is.

I've loved Imprezas for as long as I can remember and have always supported them in the WRC over the years.
Now I'm finally going to own one but have just been sick looking at the insurance quotes for Japanese Imports...
The cheapest so far being £1300!!!!

Any help on the best places to start looking for Jap import scooby quotes would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!!!
Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels Insurance may be able to help with a quote, he's very helpful and a fellow Classic Impreza owner.....
Good choice on the car btw, rapid motor!!!

Hi guys!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'll check out those insurance co's and see what deal I can get, thanks for the help!

Oh yes RedScoob, the thing had me changing my underwear when I got all busy with the loud pedal! Acceleration was something else!

I won't be able to make that meet myBlackwrx. I'm off on holiday to Madrid tomorrow for the weekend, then off to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza the weekend after. Hopefully after all that, I'll be picking up my Scooby the week after! Can't wait!

I'll defo be up for some S/W & London meets in the coming months though as I'm frequently in London seeing friends and family at the weekends.
