Hi i have done a search but still i am not sure i have v3 sti type r and what petrol is best i am using esso 97. Shoud that be a prob and it is a import.

At tescos they do 99 octane unleaded....in Essex its gone down to 94.9p i think.Mine is a 95 WRX wagon import and it runs great on this fuel.

I've also got a version 3 sti - I personally wouldn't use esso 97, but if you don't drive the car particularly hard it could be fine. I use Optimax (98 ron) with Prolong octane booster - but now that optimax has changed to v-power and is 99ron, I'll probably drop the octane booster for daily driving and just use it if I'm planning to push the car.
