Default 22B in showroom

I ve just been into my local Subaru dealership in Aylesbury and they have a
UK 22B [one of only 16 officially sold in the UK] in thier showroom for sale.
It has 2145miles on the clock and is priced at an unbeleiveable £45,000, but my god it is a beautiful showroom condition car.

You'd have to be a complete muppet to buy that for £45k. It is an awesome car, but not worth that kind of money - you could get a Porsche GT3 for that money - I know which I'd rather have...

Popped in to see it (forgot camera though). It is in amazing condition and a lovely looking car. The brake discs have not even corroded.

Immensely over priced though and shame on anyone who stumps up that amount of money.

If money was no object then of course - not a problem, I'd have it like a shot.

But then I'd have to put up with the harranging (sic?) I'd get from the ScoobyNet folks

Sorry i was referring to the car RMA26's post was about. I don't doubt the car you are talking about, sounds like a beauty just over priced

Where's my lottery ticket?

There was a 22b at the NBO with only 8k mileage IIRC. Won the best special edition in the show n shine, I think.

So what is it worth then? I have never seen a 22B in the flesh and i have been scooby spotting for over 10 years, So having a car so exclusive must have a price!

45K for what - an 8 year old car?

Who would ever pay 45K for a Subaru, never mind an 8 year old banger?
Oh and only 2145 miles - yeah right

Also, someone sold one for 23K
Again, what sort of eejit would buy that?

What about the engine in an 8 year old car with only 2000 miles?

Corrosion?

How much would the car have been when it was new?

If its near £45K then with the milesage and its cult classic status I can see it being worth that money. Of course it could never be driven, but it would be worth the money.

In which case a 2000 mile car which could well end up in a collection might well be worth £45K ......IMHO

I'm not so sure.

Its clearly mint.

Its one of the rarest and most sought after cars in the Subaru range.

It has a genuine link with motorsport, unlike all the rest of them

It is probably the best looking Subaru ever made

£45k is probably on the high side, but its certainly worth a premium.
