Large wheels and low profile tyres have a habit of looking flat, especially when parked with some steering lock on or on an incline or rutted/uneven surface, some brands look worse than others due to nature of the sidewall construction.
Also bear in mind, if the load rating of the tyre isn't the same as the orginal OE tyres (check on the driver's door jam) then you will need to run higher pressures - especially if you drive hard or do lots of high speed driving...this is probably the main reason why so many poeple suffer split side walls on scoobys when using with tyres of a lower load rating than the OE tyres (i.e Good years GSD3). Keeping an eye of wear over the width of teh tyre is a good indication of too little or too high pressure for the load placed on the tyre - wearing and rounded on the outside sections is too litle. Wearing in the centre is too much. Also bear in mind dodgy/incorrect geometry can cause this, as can modified suspension geometry.
As a final consideration, when driving listen for a "thump thump" noise with the wheel rotation, it may happen intermittantly on and off or under certain manouvers, such as braking, cornering or pulling away (more noticable at slowish speed in my experience). This maybe accompanied by dodgy handling - especially if its a front tyre, although most peopel won't notice. If you suffer any of this, it could indicate sign of a broken band or a structural failing within the tyre itself.
