Default exhaust, would this make a difference?

would it be best to be 3" bore all the way?

or

3" down pipe going to 2.5" where it joins the centre section, then back to 3"

both will be fully decated.

and the car will have a re-map done after one of these is done.

what would you do and why??

Better without the restriction. There isnt much point increasing the bore size after the bottle neck.

if i cut the end of a stainless steel pipe, so i need to treat it so stop it going rusty?
