Default 9.84s @ 146mph

I just wanted to congratulate my husband publicly for running a 9.84s 1/4 mile at 146mph yesterday (Santa Pod test day.)

I cannot even begin to explain how much blood, sweat and tears have gone in to this project, but it feels bloody good today!

With a bit more tune (maybe NOS?) and a bit more time, Paul believes he can go lower (oooer).

I would also like to give a big to Andy and Barbara, I imagine they know what I am talking about!

More detailed info here:

Liz Blamire
Mrs Zen

PS, did anyone tell you Andy did a 9.3 @ 159mph

Have to agree with you there m8.
I understand that one hell of a lot of work goes into these cars, but i'd much rather see them lapping Brands, Silverstone and 'The Ring' etc.
I would just feel short changed with everything being over 9.5 seconds!

Then again, now I know how my other half feels!

That is why the car is also fully prepped for the Time Attack pro series and will be at Silverstone on the 20th August.

Being able to do a 9.84s 1/4 mile in a car that also lapped Knockhill (Time Attack Round 3 on 1st July) at a very respectable 57.540s is no mean feat believe me. And with more time to be spent on the set-up, Silverstone should see a track improvement.

Sheeesh, how much do you guys want?!

Aswell as the Time Attack series this year, the same car also made it to the Ring twice last year.

Well done Paul Your car looks very tidy and the colour isn't too garish in real life An excellent time for a car that's not totally '1/4 mile'd'
