OK...I know I need to post this on the wanted board but I want to spend £5k on a turbo scoob, any year, shape, condition ( no crunched up write offs please )coz I'm gonna grasstrack it next season....should be the first on the track in the UK and I think it'll be a winner with no mods....apart from a cage and other minor adjustments....like stripping the interior, taking the glass out, dash, changing the wheels and tyres, exhaust, fuel tank, lights/indicators....OK minor to major....but eh...what a site it'll be on track....get outa my way class 9's and 10's....ha!....ha!..serious request guys.

Evening sir,
Yes winter is here, boredom looming large, I'm currently awaiting a summons for a speeding offence ( 86 on the motorway ) and currently have 9 points, so totting up comes into play and a possible ban, worst is I'm off to USA in 2 weeks for a month or so so might not be here to face the rap, my solicitor will be in attendance, it'll possibly get adjourned till I come back anyway.
Used to be Leewoods club champion LM1 with a class 10 2.8 inj machine, got to the nationals a couple of times before giving up in 92, fancy getting into it again and what better machine than a scoob......! meet soon.

Mellow Yellow,
I'm sure you knew this already, but you cannot be banned unless you're present in court. If I were you, I would tell the court that you will be away for (much) longer than a month. A guy I know did this and they gave him 12 points, but no ban. Failing that, I'm sure there are loads of people on Scoobynet that would be only too glad to take the points for you. Good luck!
Jerome.

If you are thinking of racing the impreza in Autograss(run by NASA).It has to be run in 2WD as 4WD is not allowed. Someone ran one a year or so ago, it seems to go ok.
Check out the various Autograss sites on the web and you can see what's allowed and what's not allowed...I think a scooby will have problems against the twin motorbike engined saloons.....

MellowYellow: I am extremely jealous that you have an F40. Please don't tell me you have a 288GTO as well.
rsquires: if it's not too personal to ask, and I've never seen the background written down anywhere, what are the circumstances surrounding the fact that you have a 22B but live in the States and hence don't drive it often?
