Default Where to sell my Sti ?

Bad news - change of job means I'll be doing too many miles to keep the Scoob........time for a diesel.......

My question is where to sell an 05 Sti PPP?? I'm after a reasonable price, but need a quick sale....

Any dealers taking these in ?

Any thoughts ?

all of the above, advertise everywhere you can think of. lining yourself up for some tyre kickers but max exposure is needed for getting shot quick.

might be lucky on here but be ready for the usual 'too dear, not selling well at the mo, **** has fallen out of the scooby market' comments

pitch it at the right price and with most people not keen on the new look you've got a good chance of a reasonable price

good luck

Have you considered keeping it and just buying something super cheap for the commute?

Exactly, like a little Micra or something. Can pick a good one up for £400, won't cost a penny to run, 40mpg minimum and u'll appreciate the scoob more!

Forget selling it to a dealer. I tried to sell my 05 STI PPP with Spring kit, and PFF7 Alloys. Most dealers would only offer £16k. One even offered £14k.

This was in March, so if I was you, your better off trying to sell it privately.

Ended up keeping my car, as the hit in depreciation was too much in less than 1 year of ownership.

Great news

Dealers are still selling these for over £20K........robbing gits

I dont mind them making a couple of grand - but 4 or 5 !!

Sounds like I'm in the same boat - 40% lost in 9 months....nice

Need a decent car for my job - have to do a lot of site visits etc.....

I'll go to having an older Scoob in the garage for weekends when funds allow - probably should have gone that way in the first place - good old hindsight strikes again

I have an 03 STI TSL333 and also purchased a Micra with 40k on the clock. Cost me 1k and i fill it up every 2 1/2 weeks. (I do probably 150 miles town driving a week)

Oh, you're refering to my g/f's car!

Trust me, my b*llocks would have been painfully removed, boiled and surrounded by little bread soldiers before she'd ever sell her micra!
