Default Could anybody shed any light on my situation?

First of all id like to say hi as this is my first post. Im getting rid of my ctr and looking at getting an sti. Now i should have about 15k what im stuck in between is do I go for a standard sti then get the tsl 333, or do i buy an sti with ppp? I know its more power with tsl, but its less hassle than buying one with the ppp package, all your opinions are much appreciated

Hi, and welcome,
Firstly, learn to use capital letters, commas and full stops.
People might then understand your post.

Welcome Chappers.

I think the most important thing is to remember is the STI rear strut problem. If you buy from a dealer you should be safe, and the PPP.

Just had a set on my 03. With out warrenty loads of money.

Ellos Chappers, i went from a CTR to a 2003 STi PPP,and to be honest when u first drive one it's plenty enough power, it seems a whole world away from how fast the CTR is and IMO that'll be all you need, if at a later date u want either TSL 333 or another tuning package go for it.

I still remember my first full throttle overtake in mySTi and it was like OMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! I think i even short shifted LOL.

Power mods won't invalidate the warranty on the suspension, or much else for that matter. Most dealers don't really give a $h!t what you've done to your car and it only becomes an issue if there is a large warranty claim, such as an engine going pop, when IM will send out an inspector to authorise the work.

If it was my money I'd be trolling the Autotader etc looking for an EU STi that someone needs to offload after only just getting (seems to happen quite regularly). Last year I contemplated just such a car that had 3k on the clock and was up for £18k, saving £8k over UK list. Then go for a warrantied tuning package like Powerstations or WRC Technologies, that way most things are covered by the Subaru Pan-Euro 3yr and the rest by the tuners
