welcome tez. nice to know someone else started off in the deep end. i had a scoob sport as my first car and was paying £1500 tp f&t on that. being 21 helped a little lol. then i really threw myself up a creek without a paddle and bought a wrx 2 months later lol. £2300 fully comp, i am suicidal lol.
you will enjoy the experince at worst owning a scoob even a sport as they are rather nippy. when you can afford it though get yourself a turbo... well worth the hike up in insurance and the sudden drop in your wallet (or purse )
all the best anyway in your venture to the unknown... andy.

My only advice would be do not under any circumstances turn it into a Turbo look-a-likey. Other then that, congrats and welcome to Snet.
