errmmmm

dare i say it, but halfords are pretty good with the paints. I used them for the FTO i had. Imported and a very rare colour silver. (symphonic silver, facelift models only) and the match was spot on.

Failing that, try scooby clinice, i think they do actual repairs, they might be able to help or at least point you in the right direction

Cheers

Hi mate...
as your other reply...
I found halfords on this occassion really good..
Give them the paint code and they will mix it for you there and then...
put it in the paint pen and all for £1.99 Bargain....

I tried for ages to get a sonic blue touch up pen.
Phoned Halfords, great they said they can do it.

Drove down to them only to be told they can't.

Ended up buying one from the States, delivery cost more than the pen.

I got proper ripped off

Your right - ive just waisted 35mins stood there like a monkeys head for them to say "sorry but 74F has been matched up to the wrong colour in the database" (meaning black)

I am going to try a body shop before approaching the dealer.

I give up!!!! -

Subaru touch-up pen part number = j3617 fa012 (74f sonic blue mica)

but - as u have already mentioned, there seem to be two or three different shades of 74f. the number above didnt match my car (its a shade darker!)
