Default advice please

just fitted a walbro fuel pump to my99 uk turbo today and now the revs fluctuate between 300 and 900 rpm when idleing any advice?

Did you replace the fuel regulator too ?

I fiited one of these last weekend and it was fine, using the standard regualtor too.

Sounds like Maf sensor could be at fault......wouldn,t have thought changing pump would cause eratic idle......unless pump is faulty.
