2 Door Subarus?
#1
All STi cars and WRX cars are imports.
Be careful because the new shape Impreza is confusingly called the "WRX" as well.
Dealers won't service imports but lots of independent garages will. Imports are generally higher spec with air con, more power etc. Most grey importers underseal the cars when they come in.
Thanks
Gavin

why do you want a 2 door so much?
The type r looks exactly the same as the P1 apart from bumper extensions and spoiler design but from a distance you could never tell.
Some subaru garages will service an import too, but they will do it carefully as it can affect their franchise.
Steve lawson is a former subary mechanic with a wealth of knowledge ad experience. He will service your car for you.
Scoobysport is only a 50 min drive from hemel and they will aslo service imports.
I suggest you decide on exactly what you want before jumping into buying a 2 door as there are lots of things to consider.
Undersealing is a scaremongering plot put out by uk importeres to scare people away from greys.
All cars are sealed to some degree, but uk cars may get extra special care. I dont know of any non specifically undersealed cars in the UK that are suffering because of it. That includes the two I have had.

Thanks for the advice Adam,
I prefer the 2 doors as I feel they look far better, would love a P1 but its well out of my price range!
I could afford up to £16500 so should get a good V5 for that?
How often do they have to be serviced? Any idea of service cost?

I own a Sti 5 type R and i bought it from SGT in Taplow near Maidenhead. They are a Subaru and M'bishi main dealer. It has a full Subaru service history from SGT...
Its a 2 door in silver with tinted windows and gold wheels. Supplied by one of SGT's partners in the business and hence serviced there from new.
If you call them they may have other trade-ins. The previous single of my Sti bought a P1 from them and traded my car in.
They have a used outlet in their premises and it disposes of all their trade-in cars. You may get a bargain!
cheers, Den
