Default any ideas

hi guys. my car is supposelya 95 scoob lx (uk car) running all turbo gear, lots of wrx parts on it. i noticed today on the dashboard on the passenger side, like a oval mark sort of indicating there was once a sticker there for some reason. the mark is about 10cm by 7cm in size and i was just wondering if its maybe asticker to show a ltd edition number of the engine and running parts on my car.

i bought it with no service history and know its a bit of a gamble. the model year for the engine says 93 wrx engine which is 240ps i believe, but the gentleman who i bought it from claims that its running round 280ps at least.

i dont know from looking at the engine if any mods have been carried out. i just saw this like sticker mark (deep markings aswell not rubbing away) and was getting excited at the thought of having a ltd edition engine etc.

am i getting ahead of myself or what lads/lasses. coincedence or me being sad??

but saying that the engine number (after a search on a website) came up as a 93 wrx engine...

unless there has been a transplant somewhere along the line.

here she is anyway. i did a search for them and nothing came up.

Maybe it was a 'No Smoking' sticker?

maybe gc8 but would a sticker leave like a score mark when its peeled off? thats what got me wondering. you cant rub it away its like whatever was there was supposed to stay there, like a permanent sticker if that makes sence. i just wondered.
