Simon
My post basically said that I had not received any confirmation from Amazon. Sob story etc...
After double checking, it appears that I had inadvertedly not completed the order process on their web site. Opps!
Hence post deletion.
Order placed again today - hopefully I got it right this time!

Just watched the video...
My few minutes of fame being interviewed before going on track - talking bol**cks as usual
Stef - you did not get off either - your spin at Trax was also caught on film
Quite a good video, with some SIDC track action, Prodrive, Graham Goode, Plenty of rally action etc.
Rich.

Did they use the bit where I tracked Stef with the in-car camera as he smoked his way off the edge of turn 1 and across the gravel at Dono? hehe

VERY disappointing!! 4/10, must try harder. Far too much chat and not enough action. Best bits were of owners cars around various tracks. Get the remote ready to skip over the many boring parts. Not worth £12. The only sideways action (non rally footage) was from Stef - spun it as a result but a fine effort! Didn't see any of the famous scooby lift-off oversteer party trick.

Yeah equally not impressed. I expected a history of the car and a run through all the models. This was a small collection of video shoots spread out to fill 60 minutes. Not what I expected at all.

What a shame!!
So I abused Jase's Type R for nothing then
There was some great action as well...
sideways through the esses at dono right behund stef who was also sideways...
One of the biggest / fastest / most perfect powerslides possible in an impreza through turn 1...
and an entire lap of sideways action, all on in-car camera...
have they not used any of it?

I wondered if anyone else thought it was poor...
I wasn't sure who it was aimed at really, seemed to change emphasis part way through. In the beginning an idiots guide to some Imprezas later a promotional video for David Lapworth and Mr Goode.
Not worth £12.99 IMHO

I have yet to see it, but it's not sounding good.
Perhaps we should make our own ala 'Scoobytrax'?
I have enough footage, especially of The 'Ring, Donno, Snett', Silverstone, etc!!
Stef.

Stef,
Got to agree on this, would have to be better
And if anyone is at Dono on the 12th Nov. I hope to have a lipstick camara setup for "Spoiler Cam", "Brake Disc Cam", "Door Cam" etc. That is if all the stuff turns up on time.
Cheers

Thanks everyone for spoiling it b4 I watched it!
At least the 22B on the cover looks nice.
My fault for reading this thread. I used to open my Chrismas presents b4 with a scalpel, sneak a peak then tape 'em up again.
And to think I was hoping it might be good.

Got mine this morning. I thought it was far superior to "Beast from the East" also from DUKE.
I noticed someone with a SIDC teashirt on, where can I get one!!!
Didnt fulfill my addiction, but did keep me from gibbering about scoobies for an hour!! My wife enjoyed it and she didnt even watch!!
Highlight has to be the green scooby totally losing it and heading for the wall.
Greg
ps Thanks GregH for making it all possible with my £5 Amazon voucher!

Come on own up, which one is Stef ?
That spin was pretty wild. I would have thought you could have catched it though...What made the car go so badly out of shape ? During the middle is did look unrecoverable and looked like you just kept your foot down (a bit too much) ?
Run us through it would ya mate or was it a case of "Woe SHiiiit" <grin>

Ahem!
What the video clip doesn't show is me coming round Copse waaaaaaaaaaay too fast completely sideways with full opposite lock. I was so excited that I was holding this beast of a slide that when the car straightened up I floored it a bit too much, hence the wild tank-slaps. After four or five attempts at catching the bugger I just gave up!
Still, I obvioulsy knew that Duke were filming, and without footage like this the video may well have turned out to be a tad......lifeless?

I have to agree with you guys, it's a pretty poor vid.
I was hoping that you were being overly critical, but alas you were right. Too much chat, not much of a 'story'.
Watching some of the owners driving around Knockhill, Donnington and Silverstone was quite interesting though.
I recognised Pete Croney (obviously), and his car wasn't hard to spot .
Stef's car was also an good feature - nice one mate!
So who else was on the video?
Oh and which interviewee was Stef? (As I've never met the man.)
Rich
