Default boot latch

befor i start ripping her insides out, where is the tensioner for the boot latch cable located? mine has gone all slack.

got the same problem as well with my classic

there is no tensioner it's a set length of cable occasionally if you pull the carpet back by the lever the outer sheath can come out of the clip that holds it in place thus stopping it opening the boot due to the movement, so just pop it back in to place.
