Default Headlamp opinion

Ive got a MY02 WRX (and yes thats my number plate as well ) and have been looking for different headlamps.

But i can not decide between the morette quads (£400) or the Halo headlamps.

Is there any one on here that could help me??

Halo:

I agree they do look good but the also come in at £300 more expensive. not that im penny pinching i am just wondering.

Either way they will be sprayed to match the car just dunno what will set the front end off better.

Ive already put a de-badged front grill, just want something to make it look even more sexy now.....

Don't what ever you do buy the Angel Eyes, spend a bit more if you can and get the Morrettes or if you can stretch further I think the Prodrives look fantastic.
I picked these up off E-Bay for £100.
If you keep an eye out in the For Sale section, sets of both occasionally come up.

These ones are the dogs danglies, they're the ones I'll buy when I can find a reasonably priced set.

Save your pennies and buy some STi headlights. Morrettes are even uglier than the original lights, and that's quite a feat, and those things on ebay need drowning. The prodrive lights come a close second.

I thought the STI lights wouldn't fit the WRX..... those ones do look good....

But im guessing they will set me back more than the moretty ones...

Same hole. You'll have to do a bit of wiring for a headlights, not hard, and a lot of wiring for the headlamp adjusters, not needed. I paid less for mine than a lot of people pay for Morrettes, load of written off STi's now.

Not sure if he still has them, but a friend of mine has a brand new set of morrette lights for sale, think he wants £250 for them. If you are interested pm me and i`ll ask him for you, the only thing is we are in Sheffield, so would have to post them to you...

I've got Prodrive lights already on the car although they are lined up wrong (left hand drive) for some reason, but I now know how to change them to RH drive versions...In the meantime I bought a set of sti lights......so now I have both dont know which ones to use, and which ones to sell ??????
Think the prodrive lights are meaner looking, especially left in black just like the 2001 wrc car...yummmmmmmmm

I have the prodrive ones, left in balck on blue car, think they look great.

The prob with morettes, is that so many people have done the same, you are paying (after painting etc) around £400 for standard looking lights.

The STI ones are HID Xenons, far superior light output than any of the others....
Night driving is much safer, and faster !!!
Once you drive with these anything else is a poor substitute
Esp as I have gor PIAA driving lights instead of fogs as well
The prodrive ones look the dogs however, I had them on my V7 wrx PPP..
