I'll be there
I am going on sunday, Hopefully the best day for weather, so i can get some runs in.
I will be looking forward to seeing how she runs now i have had a remap cold air feed. Hoping for 13s as was getting low 14s last year @ SantaPod.
If you are tempted to go for RWYB, make sure you bring along your Licence too.
Here is some info from the RotorStock site.
• Mazdarotaryclub.com recommends you wear a helmet for Drag Racing
• Bring your drivers licence for sign on
• Wear clothing that covers your arms and legs
• Windows must be closed when racing
• Seat Belts must be worn
• The other thing is a plea regarding intercooler spray bars. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Not if you are drag racing! we cannot afford any fluids on the track. As you probably know, the track
is treated for traction. The slightest moisture turns it into a skating rink! even if you use the
spray bar in the fire up road, there will still be drips when you get to the line. This means a
clean up that eats into valuable racing time. The track policy is perfectly clear on this, any car
dropping fluids will NOT be allowed to race!
With regard to a catch can i emailed the site an got this confirmation from Clive. Clive@mazdarotaryclub.com
"As for the catch can, you won't need one however commonsense obviously
tells you that if you are dropping any fluid you would endanger other people
and you would not be allowed to run."
If you are going to run 11s or under you need a helmet ! I wish !
C U there !
