Hi,

I've decided to "invest" in athe prodrive upgrade for MY05 WRX, but the £1600 dealers charge for this still leaves a bitter taste

I've heard that some main dealers will discount PPP - does anyone have any experience of this - if so could you let me know where I can get the kit for a more reasonable price.

I was looking at this for MY06 WRX a couple of weeks ago and the local dealer is adamant they can't/won't discount this. There is no margin in it for them (apparently) so it's the Subaru price or nothing, unless you get an after-market chip which will invalidate any warranty

erm replacement ecu,intercooler silicon hose and sportscat exhaust.

Im not sure what else he got but i think that was it in the main.

oh and about 270 bhp

I've just done a search and found a 'stage 2' and 'stage 3' kit. This was on an American site though. Could this be why the prices vary, slightly different kits?

Or even replacement ECU, new intercooler hose (blue), de-cat centre pipe and Prodrive back-box.
