I forgot to mention that the majority of these companys work from Cap (The little black book) which is used at nearly all auction houses. It might be worth trying to find a link for them to get an approx price

Prkers guide only values that age car upto 50,000 miles. It's pretty high for the year.
Trade price is £9600 for a 50,000 car in parkers, you should pay trade price as top as thats all the company will get selling it on.
I recon you could get that car for £9000 in january.

Thats more like it.I thought I may pay £10K tops.It has been my car from new so I know it's history.(It has been reliable and mostly motorway miles).Accountant is suggesting c£13750.-too much I thought -but being a canny Scot I am looking for a bargain !
Any other (realistic) comments ?
