Default tax renewal stolen!

Found a DVLA Envelope on top of dustbin, and my tax renewal is due!
envelope had leaflets in but no letter , so suspect its been nicked!
what use is this to a thief , what repercussions can it have?
funnily enough we have a mobile fun fair behind our house at moment!

A numberplate will be made up with your details and a car stolen matching your car - it will then be used as a pikey car.

You will get all the speeding tickets and the requests for where you were when a 'drive-off' occurs somewhere in the country!

Yours and your cars identity has been stolen ...............

Why was it on the dustbin? had you thrown it out?or did the posty put it down on the bin and forgot about it?

yes but it does happen, we used to have a postman that used to steal the post if it was something important. turned out he was a right loonie and he got sacked for it.

who ever it is should get done for atleast opening the queens mail its against the law
and they should also get done for fraud copying someones identity maybe you should get a guard dog and leave it in your hall way to chew peoples hands off
hope you get it sorted

looks like a false alarm!
DVLA confirmed they sent nearly 2 weeks ago!
but lo and behold on the mat this morning was my renewal!
they can not send out another so this must be original.
does not explain incided with bin tho, my bin is behind house in a secluded garden, and we have not thrown DVLA envelope full of leaflets away
police and DVLA were uninterested and useless by the way.
apologises to any offended pikeys on here

can sleep easier now. thanks for your comments people1
