Question M3 boring boring boring (compared to a Scoob)

Just bought an M3 cabriolet 2001 model. Have still got my Subaru but its for sale and the cash was goingtowards a short term loan used for the M3

The thing is the M3 is really boring. Not used to refinement and quiet as the M3 is both. I just feel like Im driving a V6 mondeo or something similar and feel so unconnected. I think Ive made a massive mistake turning my back on Subaru but think I'll sell the M3 as soon as the logbook comes back from swansea.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?....................... I never thougth I'd hear myself say an M3 is boring. It was great in the testdrive but to smooth and quiet for me and I crave the flat 4 Subaru soundtrack again

Erm...................anyone in the market for an M3 Cab great spec?

E46 M3 is over-rated, doesn't stop, accelerate or corner very well unless the road is dry and smooth. Relieved to have got rid of it, and lost a packet on it in 6 months.

Evo is fantastic. Only thing I don't like is the gearbox is notchy when cold. You would not believe how responsive a 2.0 engine can be running 400 BHP with just an exhaust, fuel pump and remap, feels like a TD04 on a Scooby that just pulls very hard and forever and feels totally unstressed doing it. Handling is fantastic, S-AYC is very fast acting on the late models and feels natural, safe and huge fun, far more so than the M3. Economy just as good as the Scooby/M3.
