Good fair review of the car. I drove both a classic and a bug-eye before buying and his comments largely reflect my own opinion on the differences between the old and the new(er).

I thought it was fair too! The Impreza has Always been a cracking car, Subaru just bodged up the looks with the Bugeye (irrelevant when you're behind the wheel). As Jason said at the start, people have never purchased them for the looks anyway.....although note to Subaru: that doesn't mean you HAVE to make them pig ugly!!
