Default Can't trust HPI

I have just found out an hpi check I did on an Alfa Romeo 156 a few months ago was a waste of money, when it came back with no problems I bought the car. I have just part ex'd the Alfa for my Wagon and discovered the Alfa had been written off (Cat C) when it was 11 months old. The only explanation hpi can give me is that not all insurance companys give write off information to all the hpi companys. Basically they weren't given the information about my car... be aware and don't trust them anyway

Default Hi

The garage that I part ex'd the Alfa at to get the Wagon used a different company, Experian I think. They had it listed, cost me another £500 to get rid of the Alfa after that.
