Wagon or not - help?
Hi,
I had a 51 plate 4 door WRX (which I imported from Belgium) which I sold in favour of a 2004 ST220 5 door on the basis of practicality!
I have just been offered a straight swap by a dealer for a 54 plate Wagon. It is a Maltese import with under 20k miles. My wife is happy to consider it as it is a 5 door!!
Before I go and look at it more closely I thought I'd ask your collective advice on a couple of points.
1. Any comments on the fact its a Maltese import? I reckon the Mondeo to be worth around £12500 - is it a fair swap?
2. Are the service costs still as high as I remember - £80-£100 every 6 months with £200-£250 for an average service?
3. Is it it still compulsory to have it serviced by a main dealer every 6 months to maintain the warranty?
I'd really appreciate any comments. My heart says yes but my head ain't so sure!!!
Cheers,
Nige
