Default Any difference?

Just been looking at the stats on the STI with PPP and they seem very similar to the P1 spec.

This got me thinking, if you put a STI PPP up against a P1 would they be closely matched?

I am liking the P1 idea but they are 6 years old where as the STI'S are newer

I have been fortunate to own a P1 and now have a 05 STI PPP. I personally think the P1 was a better handling car and was quicker off the mark. Once going though IMO the PPP has the edge. My dislikes of the P1 were the front splitter scraping off everthing and the fact that it didn`t like to be driven slowly! Both have a harsh ride with the STI being slightly better. I have no regrets buying the P1 though I prefer my STI alot better.

They are very close but IMO the STI scrapes it. The PPP has more torque and with the 6 gears seems to me to be more urgent. I can see the attraction of the P1 ( 2 doors, limited edition, rave reviews etc) it is an excellent car. Don`t be put off buying one because of peoples opinions, I personally just prefer my STI. Which ever one you buy you won`t be dissapointed mate.

Hope you get the P1 mate, you`ll love it. One bit of advice, if the brakes are standard, upgrade to the ALCON ones you`ll need them!
