Hi mate, and before anyone else says it don't let some of the old n bold types wind you up (ie Pete!!! )

You got anything in mind then? Or just an idea for now?

Thats fair just changed my air filter and already done the exhaust, once its been remapped I reckon 280 should be a fair goal for me.

Either that or its gonna be a classic sti ra!

Why do you want 280bhp? Is it for bragging rights?

Welcome anyway.

no bragging rights at all.

just having owned a cossie, i want something with a bit of power, and i know a standard uk scoob power wise isnt enough for me.

Is it wrong to want x amount of power?

What if 270 could be achieved for a couple of hundred quid but 280 would cost double that, would you still want 280?

Usually quoting figures is done in such an arbitrary manner, that's all.

if 270 is all i could get for a sensible amount, then that would be fine.

i use 280 loosely as its often a quoted standardish power output for japanese cars..

being a previous cossie owner, i dont know "that" much about scoobies, and im prepared to admit that, but i do fancy one.

I dont specifically think the scoob will be better than the cossie, nor the cossie better than the scoob as they're both good cars are what they do

Me? Blinkered? not at all!
