Annoying stone chips
Anyone got any ideas how to beat the stone chips you get whilst driving on MOTORWAYS . I've had my bumper resprayed already , the car is only 7 months old . Would appreciate any advice.

I have been told the paint on Subarus is weak, so its something you have to live with, unless you can afford a respary every 7 months!
you could get something called armor guard I think which is a plastic film which is applied to the front.

I don't suffer with bumper driving syndrome , It appears there are very small stones on motorways that get flicked up by cars driving in the other direction and also cars driving in front but on another lane .

It's a car, live with it or cover it in armourfend, or paint shield 3m film.
WHich in turn will probably go yellow and look worse.
Only way to truely get rid of them is never to drive your car

I had Armourfend fitted on my S1 Elise after a respray (very susceptable to chipping). In the 2 years it was on I never picked up 1 chip. As far as I could see it didn't start to yellow, but the car was yellow anyway Not cheap but very effective.
