Now the Oil Filter - once £4:05 - is now, £6:53!!
Thats a 61% Rise - IN 6 MONTHS!!!! - SUBARU!!!!!
What have you got to say to that then!!
AND, why can I buy Brake Pads for £21:84 and you want £105:56????
AND, why can I buy Discs for £65:55 a pair and you want £102:53????
You are just RIPPING off your loyal followers and IT'S NOT ON!!!
STOP IT!!!

pete, they are cheap because they are ****.
will be fine for your gentle braking foot, but if for some reason you have a mad mist moment, say escaping from thrown fruit at a certain scooby event for charity, then don't expect them to stay fade free for long. bordering on dangerous in my opinion.

You miss the point of the EU 90 Regulations, which state that the patented braking parts must be at least 90% as good as the originals.
I have had the originals on for 67,000+miles and have never suffered brake-fade ...................
This is just one of those 'Myth-Moments' ... you know how they go by now, "Thats cheap, they cannot be any good whatsoever! Now, if they tripled the price we would buy them coz we would sleep better!"
My point is really the high charges for Subaru Branded Service Items!!

no pete, i've used them and they are pants.
agree that £100 plus for scooby pads are a **** take, my pagids didn't cost alot more and they are great
the 90% test is probably that they must stop within no less than 10% of original or something daft like that. about the wooliest statement i've ever heard.
and no, i didn't get brake fade with my usual driving with my subaru official pads either. the apecs were a different story.

Anything MORE than £34:99 is NOT, by any stretch of the imagination, 'not much more'

Pete - I think you'll find that the price increases only apply to you........
And the reason?
Whilst there have been some failed attempts to ban you, where they have failed on ScoobyNet, obviously there are some sympathisers within the IM camp......
It's all a conspiricy
Dan

Could I interest you in some bags of very cheap shredded paper?? I get it for 50p a bag - you can have it for 'not much more', £9:99 a bag - deal??

Unlike "fast road" pads which don't work properly on cold emergency stops, of course
Not like that ever happens (like almost every motorway trip)
Of course the advertising tosh will always claim "good bite when cold" Hell, my Gran's dentures could bite harder than some ....actually, it's not funny or a matter to joke about.
