i bought a film off ebay which doesnt play on my dvd player as its a different region. what i wanna do is copying it onto a blank dvd and remove the region and encryption code. i tried dvd shrink but it wont work can anyone else recommend a programme to do this please ? and provide a link if poss

ive used the free demos of anycd clonecd etc so i cant use them

Would have thought DVD Shrink would have worked, thats the one I use and have had no bother. Try running the film on your PC first. Then use Shrink. That has sometimes worked for my mate.
I did once use a different software package, that will do what you want. I'll have a look at home tonight, then let you know. It was god awfully slow though.

You could buy a multi-region dvd player. Cheap as chips, to coin a phrase.

Try going to www.dvdcodes.net and turn your dvd player into multi region.

Check on the web to see if your player can be unlocked to region free - most of them can and it only takes a couple of minutes and just involves entering a code on your remote control, so isnt anything technical.
