Im thinking of buying this car.... bright yellow (may be cashmere) 97R, 32k miles, STI Type R 2dr

listed just under 15k

Hmmm....

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's been for sale for a while...

If its Yellow, and a 97, it will be an STi Version 3 Type R V Ltd...

Unfortunately that means it has the pre-98 interior...i.e no white dials, big rubber gear lever cover etc... The post 98 (i.e Forester) interior is nicer IMHO...

If you fancy a look at my car (1998 STi Version 4 Type R), I live not tooo far from Edinburgh, and I'll actually be in Edinburgh city at some point this week...

I am toying with selling mine...And I'd wouldn't be looking for anything like "Just under 15k..." for it...Quite a bit less actually...
