boost psi on turbo
hi. i got my99 sti uk. and after fitting boost gauge. it reads max out at 7psi. is this right and can i get a boost controller and up the boost to 10 psi? and what sort of power would it give me? thanx

Think a my99 shoud be about 15psi standard.
By the way. There is no such thing as a my99 sti uk.
All classic shape sti`s are jdm imports.

Hi, you must mean a uk turbo. Theres no sti my99 uk car.
if it's standard boost should be 13.7 psi (i'm prety sure). Boost gauges aren't accurate so a couple of psi either way could be expected.
If the car doesn't feel like it's really slow you've installed your boost gauge wrong.

hi and thanx. ive posted something about this sti problem i got. its anew pro comp gauge and a electrcian fitted it 3 days ago, and the car feels slow to be an sti jdm import at 260bhp and it def reads 7 psi spot on. i can understand it being 1 or 2 psi out but not 6.7 which u say. might i have an internal problem which is where im loosing power maybe??????
